The day includes walking couple of hours in the 15th century palace, which is now a UNESCO world heritage site.

This hiking is a perfect getaway from the crowds of the capital, a retreat that would help you refill the positivity before getting back to the business. It can be done by a novice as well as an expert hiker as long as you love to be in the nature. On the other hand, if the weather is at its best you will be swept off of your feet by the widely spread himalayas. We start as early as possible but not before 8. Having our breakfast we leave on a private vehicle to observe the best of the 3 durbar square, Bhaktapur Durbar square. After seeing this 300 year old palace square that consists of different component for around couple of hours we march forward toward Changu. The walking is a warm up for the hiking later in the day. We will spend not more than half an hour in Changu to reach the top of the Temple and get back to the bottom. From Changu we embark on the trails and get Nagarkot bound. The climb is not difficult, not technical but a good workout. You will walk through the pine scented trails and Rhododendron forest that is even more beautiful at blossom. The hike would take around 3-4 hours depending upon your hiking speed and type. However, on a clear day you will see wide stretch of mountain panorama. The vehicle waits for you on the top of the hill and once you are done with the day the vehicle will drive you back to your hotel.
