Langtang is one of the noticeable settlements in the entire national park at an elevation of 3430 meters from the sea level. This village was entirely swept off by the earthquake followed by the the avalanche. However, people have built back and there are around dozen tea houses. Most of the accommodations are basic and only few are modern. Nevertheless, each one of them offer fairly warm rooms and food.
Langtang village is worth the explore as their beautiful houses with amazing carvings, murals and prayer flags are now just the part of rubble.
