Lumre is a valley and it is located in around 900 meters from the sea level and is located in the Gandaki zone of Nepal. It is a riverside settlement and the predominant settlers of Lumre are from indigenous community of Ghale’s. The main source of income in this village comes from agriculture, as widely spread terrace farms can be seen throughout the extended valley. The village is connected by roadways and is the last stop of Mardi himal trek. Most of the houses are just by the newly constructed roadside but nevertheless the houses are scattered and mixes with the extended farmland. There are not more than 200 houses in the village. The closest and biggest city is Pokhara from here and takes roughly around 2 hours on a bus.
